  Good day, my laptop keeps turning off by its own due to abnormally function of my battery percentage. So I went to device manager and go to the batteries. Download the latest version of Microsoft ACPI Compliant System drivers according to your computer's operating system. Download and unzip the file to its folder. Do not do anything with the files in the folder. Go to the device manager and click on the Unknown.

Since there is no way of checking in the driver, the recieved registers are in the wrong places. Only thing that seems to work is to un install the Driver then shut down, and wait till the battery is recharged. Any one who tells you that this is a fix is either a microsoft "non-tech" on help desk, or working for Marketing division.

Basically this is MicroSoft bullying us to Up-Grade to more expensive not necessarily affordable new hardware. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another.

It is not advisable to turn the Microsoft ACPI compliant controll method battery driver , you can enable it and proceed with the steps below.
